In the most recently reported fiscal year, 2019, Google's revenue amounted to US$160 billion, which is primarily derived from advertising revenue amounting to US$135 billion.

Google also generates revenue from other sources such as in-app purchases, app sales, hardware and licensing fees including those from its Cloud business. They have made acquisitions to strengthen these businesses.

 

How Much Does YouTube Contribute To Google’s Ad Revenue?
In the past, Google has not disclosed YouTube revenue or profit. Alphabet said detailing its ad revenue by different product areas was not necessary because it’s goal was to sell one product, online advertising, regardless of how a customer paid for it or where the ad appeared.

However Alphabet has for the first time recently revealed YouTube ad revenues which accounted for some US$15 billion of the US$135 billion in ad revenue for 2019.
